Finns are GREAT
*SUOMEKSI ALHAALLA* Do NOT get offended, please…. This is written little bit tongue in cheek, although the message is important! In Finland we have this thing called “Pullonpalautus” ! And it is GREAT- It is greater than anything else I have seen anywhere else. In Finland -the land of taxes- we have also a thing called “juomapakkausvero”. It is GREAT tax for drink companies- Probably the greatest tax on universe, since you don’t need to pay it, if bottles you manufacture can be recycled through “pullonpalautus”. It is the greatest tax on universe, because in 2017 it made people return 96% of metal cans, 92% of the plastic bottles and 88% of the glass bottles. And Why are Finns so eager to return their bottles and cans into pullonpalautus? 1)Finns drink a lot (of alcohol. A L O T!!!! But I did not reveal that to you. Let’s keep it our secret…!) therefore everyones house would be flooding with empty bottles, and we don’t like that ...
